What Would the Local Journalism Sustainability Act Mean for Your Station?

Legislation that would provide substantial tax credits for broadcasters and their small business advertisers is poised for action in Congress. NAB is leading an effort, working closely with congressional sponsors and journalism organizations, to advance the Local Journalism Sustainability Act.

The bill would:

  1. Provide tax credits to television and radio stations that hire local journalists for their newsrooms; and
  2. Provide tax credits to small businesses that advertise with broadcast stations.
Hear directly from NAB’s head of government relations, Executive Vice President Shawn Donilon, about what the Local Journalism Sustainability Act could mean for your station and how you can help NAB encourage Congress to pass this important legislation.
